Again, it was from Conquest! I paid Eric for him the year they came out, and got home, unloaded my bag… No Jesuit! Darn Jebbie probably snuck off and got drunk. They do that you know. The Holy Cross fathers at King's college told me that. Holy Cross don't like Jesuits, you see… Their two most impotant tenets were "Never trust a Jebbie" and "Go Notre Dame!" I was only going to have my Iroquois torture him anyway, so it's probably just as well.

I think the finger of blame here should be pointed at the Marquis of Pombal, the most likely culprit.
