Hi, I'm scratch building an He-111Z in 1/144th scale from two Cafe Reo He-111 models. Apparently the only conversion that is needed is a middle wing section with the 5th engine. I can't seem to find any good information regarding the span of the middle wing section. The cross section is the same as the portion of the wings that the middle section replaces and it's straight across the front, so there is no issue there. I can make a partial guess from the width of the engine nacelle in comparison to the wing section, but at best, it would just be a guess, so I'm looking for more definitive data on how wide the middle section is. Thanks, Binhan |

There was an article in Airfix Magazine in the late 1960s or early 70s on how to make a "Zwilling" out of thre Airfix Heinkels. All of my back issues disappeared some time ago but maybe someone who has the article could shed some light? |
