I'm thinking of armored guys that can be painted white a la SW clone troopers but not WOTC. Trying to buy sufficient singles in very limited poses turned me of from the idea. Any suggestions for figures? Any pics? |

If you would consider 25mm (as I suppose from your title) there are a number that could fit the bill from GZG and Denizen. From GZG, check out the New Israeli armored infantry and the Neu Swabian heavy infantry. link link From Denizen, check out the Federation armored infantry and the Venturian trooper line. denizenminiatures.co.uk In "heroic" 28mm there are not as many choices. Some that come to mind, though, are Void 1.1 Syntha armored troops (can't recall the name). Also, check out the Kryomek Nexus Swat troopers. picture They can be had pretty inexpensively in some places: link Jason |

you could try mutants and madmen marines figures available from rattlehead games in the US Or EM-4 bunkerbusters available from EM-4 in the UK or GZG 25mm NSL or new isreali figs available from GZG Just a few off the top of my head |

Take a look at (Abberant Games)Rezolution's CSO Peace Keepers Team Box Set. I know Rattlehead Games carries them. |

The Spacelords Phagon Battleclones, also from EM4, would also do. The armor style is a bit rougher, but would take the Clone Trooper color schemes quite well. |

Search Ebay for "lots" of clone troopers. I just bought over 100 troopers for about $.24 USD each. Cheers, Xin |

You can't beat WotC for price. They are surprisingly easy to customise too. Take a stormtrooper, chop off his head and glue on a clone trooper one (superglue gel is fantastic). Voila! one more pose, for less than $ 1. (Plus a new Stormtrooper too.) Another WotC advantage is that the clone troopers come with one man and two man speeders all ready to go. If you want your troops to look "Star Wars" they can't really be beat. |

Xintao & Mark Plant, any recommended sellers? What scale are the WOTC figs? Are they compatible with GW imperial Guard sizewise? Thanks |

Cooey, it depends where you live and how much time you have. I buy from Game Rocket.net mostly: they are the cheapest on-line seller I have found. But I live outside the US and I'm willing to trade some money for time. If you live inside the US and are prepared to bide your time on eBay, the that is the way to go. Sometimes big lots come up for astonishingly low prices. I was lucky. I got in just at the right time to get the early sets. It can be hard to find the early figures now. |
