I am doing some lists for BGMR-WWII, and need a rough break down of the number of Il2-m3, Yak9D, Pe2 and P39. The detail need not be great, just a rough percentage will do.

What are you asking for? The total number of each type in service in 1944/45?

Why? Are you going to have them all in your game?

As a wild guess, he might want to randomly determine the type of an individual aircraft.

Well, the TOTAL # of Yak-9D's was just over a hundred. So they are virtually non existent. Just as well, a fully loaded 9D is suicidal to fly in anything but the calmest weather.

The # of Il-2's would be massive. Somewhat fewer Pe-2's. And IIRC, less than 6,000 P-39's thru the entire war. P-39's were not flown as ground attack a/c by the VVS, btw. Their primary role would be air superiority fighter or interceptor.

Over 3000 Yak 9D's were built – do you mean the B, with the 4 bombs behind the cockpit that was apparently a pig to fly?

Sorry. Yes, I meant the Yak-9B. :-o
