Right now I'm trapped between two worlds, the rising water world of global warming (which would be undrinkable water for most part) and water wars! I would think sucking all the water out of the ground would make for the right conditions for huge sink holes! So the landscape would change with some interesting effects, Now the real question would be how would one build the terrain of a sinkhole in the middle of a PA type city,
Seeing some pictures showing the side walls of many sinkholes are like being surrounded by shear cliffs, so what if a whole city or even half of a city just fell into a sinkhole what would those who survived would do and how would it look like after time and what would those around them do and what would the city slowly look like?

I plan to do the ice melt concept first, partly because no one has done it yet.

Think about it, Doug. We could be the first!

Oh I'm thinking about it and working on it, got the board for the the barge and other stuff for it and I got a sheet of thin plexiglas to use for making walkways and docks to rest on by drilling small hole in the glass for the posts, it will give it more support, going to cut it into small sections, so I can set them up in any order I want. pllus I have some pink foam board for making some islands.
