I had just received your books on the Prussian Uniforms …..they are excellent !!!

Would you ever think about doing a set for the 1806 Uniforms ?

Dear George
It is good to hear a satisfied customer. Yes I have the a draft of the book with most of the plates. It is waiting for the pubisher Partizan Press to say he would like me to start this again. He had a draft of it almost a decade ago.

Just finished a reprint
Adye (1813) Bombardier and Pocket Gunner [an essential aide memoire to British Ordnance that is quoted by anybody on the subject ever since.] for Partizan Press

Summerfield (2009) Dupin's British Napoleonic Ordnance, DP&G that has over 50 plates of British Ordnance c1816 all drawn to a metric scale.

Currently writing an introduction on the Royal Artillery and 100 RA Biographies to the Swabey Diaries 1807, 1811-13.

It is as ever driven by the publishers as to what I produce.

I really wish someone would do a book on the Early Prussian Uniforms as they can be very confusing with all the lace, pom-poms ect.

I would highly recommend your books to others and already have too a few of my customers ….. again well done !!

PS – Dr. Steven Summerfield ……. I'm sorry I had missed that before !!

Dear George
The format of the Partizan Books is much better than the (2005) Cossack Hurrah and (2007) The Brazen Cross on Russian Napoleonic Militia. Alas I was constrained to only a dozen pages of colour. It was worth the wait although it did mean that I had to start again as I had produced most of the illustrations in B&W.

My aim for the Prussian 1806 book like the recent one is to illustrate all the regiments. I now have illustrations of all the regiments.

Dear Shortcut
I am very busy on a series of other projects for him. It will take over a year to write and put together. Thanks for your kind words.

Dr. Summerfield –
I was wondering are they going to be doing the Prussian Cavalry and Landwehr Infantry to finish the series ?

I have very much enjoyed your books

Dear George
I have just finished Saxon Artillery 1733-1827 for Partizan Press and looking forward to seeing the proof copy. Alas writing books takes a considerable amount of time.
