There is a helpful painting guide for Mohawk warriors on the Galloping Major web site:

A guide to painting the new Galloping Major French Irregulars, Canadian Militia will be added to this page soon.

That Galloping Major site is a nice reference!

I always liked the paintings of Robert Griffing and John Buxton as references for warpaint and clothing. If you email a gallery that sells their work you can often get a free printed brochure of their work.

The Galloping Major site gets better and better!

Griffing has two books of his collected books out also. They are rpetty reasonable and turn up second hand from time to time also.

Too Cool! I have a bunch of 500 Indians and was looking for inspiration.
