Hi everyone: While cleaning up, I found a few Fantasy Warrior medieval humans sculpted by Mark Coppelstone from Grenadier (now Mirliton SG of Italy. Images of the range can be found here: link I'm not very experienced with medievals, but these figures seem to be very historically inspired rather than pure fantasy. Does anyone know what time period/ conflict/ nationality these figures supposed to represent? I'd like to use them for Basic Impetus and mix in other suitable medieval miniatures from other manufacturers. Thanks in advance, Matt |

They are based on the Italian city states in the later 15th century. However, I use them for WOTR. In my opinion the best figures for the period
lovely!! |

Thanks for the quick replies. One other question: What other manufacturers produce medieval ranges that scale well with the Grenadier medievals? |

To summarise what the others said: these should work fine for most places in Western Europe from roughly 1450 onwards. I have got a bunch that I am going to use for making a Burgundian Ordonnance force, complemented by the late medieval range from Crusader. I would also keep an eye on the upcoming Perry late medieval range, whenever that comes out – could provide a pretty decent match. |

I use the Copplestone figures for Burgundians & WotR. I've mixed them mostly with Front Rank WotR but also a few Crusader WotR. Count me in as another one keeping a hopeful eye on the upcoming Perry range. ;) |
