Vickers Light Tanks

I thought I'd have a mess about with a troop of little Vickers Light 'tanks' to oppose my Italians. These are type VI, with the three varients, a, b, and c with the longer BESA machine guns. Rubbish armour of course, but nice and fast for reconnaissance. They also had some in the caunter scheme, but I only discovered this after I started painting them, and then I couldn't be bothered to change them.

Any comments mose welcome.

kyoteblue,
Thanks – 1/76 they are. Only 2 inches long!
Mishima,
Re: weathering. Well I reckoned they're not going to be state of the art for the time I'd use them, post-1940, so perhaps they might not get first turn at any new stocks of paint!

They are very nice. I like the atmospheric photos, really makes them look real, rather than models.

I think the Sergeant-Major may have been ranting to get them spruced up with a new coat of paint though!

Nice! Presumably the JB Models/ Airfix model. They could really do with some added rivets, the real life item was covered in them.

Nice paint job and especially nice photos, notably the "looking up" views

They are – not sure how I'd do that though – they are only 5cms long……..

Well, a couple of suggestions. There was a write up in On the Way or one of the other AFV modelling sites that suggested cutting up very fine platic rod and then filing to equal length.

That sort of thing sounds like a complete pain to me. I've found that for cheap and cheerful rivetsfor smal scale items dabs of white glue applied with a toothpick work well enough.
