In my local modelzone yesterday, they have some of the tanks from the DeAgostini partwork in there for £3.99 GBP each (no magazine with them) Seems only the Sheman 105, Panther, Tiger II, M1 Abrams and the T34-76. Still, if you are building a 1/72 or 20mm Russian horde, it could be worth raiding. |

i have seen the very same vehicles in a local model shop to me,they were also cheaper, it seems these are the ones that maybe did not sell so well. |

Apparently they are a sub-par early batch that were rejected by DeAgostini and returned to the supplier. They were told they could sell them on but not in the UK. DeAg are investigating how they ended up in the marketplace. G. |

I wanted a Russian horde and I got one, including postage he was knocking out 18 T-34's for less than £70.00 GBP (about £3.80 GBP a pop) pics here: link and more here: link |

Why were they banned from selling in the U.K? I did buy a big batch here in Portugal
What was wrong? |

Was in the Modelzone in High Holborn today and indeed there they were, packed high
At £3.99 GBP a pop I couldn't resist
.I wasn't intending to move on to late 43/44 for my Germs for a while..but now I am the ownwer of a weak panther battalion, one of the better models they do
.An order to AB for some crews is now on the cards, then a bit of stowage and foliage, they should look the business. They still have lots of Shermans which are nice, and some tigers, which are not such good models. |

You can sometimes pick up these DeAgostini models in Poundland. |
