I have just recieved the first 3 28 mm command figures from Altar Miniatures of Turkey. They are: Fatih Sultan Mehmed Han – Mtd – 1432-1481 Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Han – Mtd – 1495 – 1566 Sultan Yildirim Bayezid Han – foot – 1360-1403 Beautiful figures, they come in full colour boxes, to the UK from Turkey for a good price and good P&P (Shipping) rates. I am not going to paint these chaps yet, but full colour phots can be found at altarmodelling.com. The chaps at Altar are intending to produce 14-16 C Ottoman armies, and I think I shall be waiting as I need some more enemies for my Poles and Muscovites! Abdullah Turhal at Altar is a good bloke and quick to answer my queries (In English) and post the figures Tally Ho! |

They look very nice indeed, thanks for the heads up on this; I'm going to have to get their demon at the very least. |

Nic, they advertise 25mm but you are saying they are 28mm. Do you have something you can compare them to? Rich |

My foot chap sits well with a TAG Ottoman I have, base slightly thicker, but they would sit well side by side in the same unit. Tally Ho! |

Those sultans sure knew how to carry off the wearing of some seriously crazy-ass hats and still maintain an air of authority.
