Great! I've been waiting for these. Now, the countdown to the actual game release. Thanks for the link. |

Hmm, the more I see of this game, the more tempting it gets. If for no other reason than that 25mm Han Chinese figs are scarce as all get-out

I've actually seen a couple of samples today at Game Parlor in Chantilly VA. They do look prety good. However, the figures themselves are 1/72 scale or about 24mm tall from bottom of the foot to the top of the head. I have seen at least one post who was disapointed in that fact. I, personally welcome them as there are not enough 1/72 scale fantasy figures on the market. John |

Yes they are 1/72 and at $35.00 USD a box quite high for that. If you check sites like Michigan Toy Soldier, you can get 50 line infantry for Napoleonic for about $12.50 USD a box. link |

Just for the record, $35 USD gets you 100 figures, the rules and trays and whatever else you need to play. Each box of infantry is $15 USD for 40 and each box of cavalry is $15 USD for 15. So the prices are a little high but not outrageous. There are also booster packs for the arcane stuff. These are random and cost $12 USD for about 7 painted figures. That's all according to their website. J- |

I read the PDF. That's an interesting idea, I could get into that. I would need to see it though. The bases look pretty ugly, and kind of distracting in the photos. Might be a non-issue in person though. |

The rules seemed interesting enough, but I have no use for another scale, or hundreds of additional unpainted minis. If all the minis were painted, I would consider it. Otherwise, I'll pass. And I must say, the background doesn't sound all that interesting. Wargods of Aegyptus has a way more detailed and interesting take on "ancients with a twist". IMHO. |

True the mini's are not that good but the game mechanics are what makes this game. No bucket of dice rolling and the armies appear to be far better balance then GW's WFB. |
