I just started playing a computer game called Over Flanders Fields which might be of interest to some members here. It is a WW I air combat simulation for the PC. The focus of the game is on historical accuracy and a deeply immersive single-player campaign experience.

Even if you are not into PC simulations you might enjoy browsing the forums. There are some very knowledgeable people there who post about WWI aviation history, after action reports, etc.

Check it out here: overflandersfields.com

I ordered this two weeks ago and am waiting for it to arrive.
I've been giving Rise of Flight a go in the meantime. Not a bad flight model and pretty aircraft, but not enough flyable planes or missions.
I'm hoping OFF will bring back those Red Baron 3D days!

The other contender in WW1 flight sims would be IL-2 Sturmovik's upcoming WW1 mod. Of the three, I think it has the most promise.

BTW, I totally agree with Woodwose's assessment of RoF. It's a good sim, but a lousy game.
