I have some of their 28mm figures already and I am truly impressed by the accuracy of the kit, and the quality of the cast. Early war SS and more Heer are coming, as well as some Pak36 and IG18 sets I hear from Ian

Hasn't Mike Owen just transferred to Man United? :-) |

Mike Owen is the God of WWII sculpting in this scale. Looks like it'll be a great range! |

Really great work. Were there any Tommy guns assigned to the BEF troops? |

Are they coordinating weapon sizes with BAM, etc? |

Yes, they did a swap. So you'll find the same weapons on both, which is a very nice touch. |

FYI Mike Owen practically sculpted the entire WWII line from Artizan. I'm a big fan of his work as well as Mark Sims's. |

The weapons are now pretty similar betwixt BAM, Artizan and BEF. The old Crusader weapons are considerably chunkier, especially the Enfields. The SS will be equipped accordingly for 1940, so don't expect MG34s or MP-28s
;) The BEF British are stunning, and in my opinion almost the best WW2 sculpts yet from Mike. His best work is the BEF Germans – they really are something special. Unlike any other range, the BEF British have the correct webbing for 1940, including the gasmask bag on the chest. |

The SS have MP28s and other odd weapons. No Thompsons though for the British
I've not found any evidence that they were issued as yet. |
