Most of my books depict only the port side profiles of German aircraft colors and markings. Were German fighter squadron insignia typically displayed on both sides of the fuselage? |

All of the diecast planes I have show insignia both sides and plastic kits I've got have two sets of decals, so it would seem so. |

Period photos and illustrations seem to indicate that they were on both sides. Might not be true for all units, but at least for some. |

Cool, that's good enough for me. I'm adding some markings to some 1/144 pre-paints. I'll put 'em on both sides. Thanks! |
