I am considering using the rules for 6mm figures. Seeing the pending rules descriptions, and admitting I have not done any research about 6mm figures for this war yet, and having to leave the hiusein a few minutes I had a question. Does anyone make specific SAW figures in 6mm? If not, who makes "close enough" figures? Gracias, Glenn Who just literally had that thought and wanted to ask it before he forgot

I don't believe so in 6mm (Maybe Irregular does?) I know they are available in 15mm. BEst Tom Dye GFI |

I think you could do well for the Americans with the Adler ACW in slouch hat. As for the Spanish, You could use the very same figures except for the blanket rolls would seem a bit overdone. Many period photos show little use in their formations. Dave |

Glen, not to hijack your thread, but what are your thoughts about the rules? |

I'm old school and if it wasn't for the arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, and bad penmanship I'd still be writing! |

I'm embarrased to admit it, but while "Rough Riders!" provides Base ideas for 5/6mm figures--and they would work fine in the rules--I can't confirm that such figures exist! I should double check, but if Irregular Miniatures doesn't provide them (or figures that will pass), they might not exist. Naturally, I'd love to see players use the purpose sculpted 15mm Rough Riders! Figures now available through TVAG, but as a party to developing the rules, I can see many advantages to using 5/6mm figures if they were available. I hope that since at least two of the Subscribers to the rules are figure manufacturers (HistoriFigs and Scale Creep Miniatures) there may be a chance that one or either may be looking at providing figures for the subject, and preferably in a scale in which there is little or no competition (definitely including 5/6mm!). Oh, the ms just underwent some last minute corrections and additions by the author, Chris Ferree, and is now expected to be in the Printers' hands at the start of next week. TVAG |

Can't wait to see my set. Since I import and sell the 15mm range from Warmodelling, I know I won't be venturing into 6mm. I'm just anxiously awaiting getting my hands on my new ACW artillery 2 years in the works! |

I am pretty much committed to selling off the few 15mm forces I have and continuing to to go "25/28/32/whatever"mm for skirmish and 6mm for battles. Gracias, Glenn |
