I recently picked up a dirt cheap copy of these rules for colonial gaming. If there is errata, I'd like to know. I'll be using these instead of Sword And Flame only because the price was so right and my money is very tight now. (Darn state budget cuts!) They seem to be nice rules, but I have little to judge by. |

I agree with Allen. My group always preferred SC to TSATF. There exists a 2nd Edition, which was at the playtest stage before being shelved. Bob Giglio was updating it. |

Can someobe give a brief outline of how the SC rules work, what basing is used etc.? I'm in a "colonial" frame of mind at the moment but I can't seem to find a set of rules that clicks. I'm using a home grown "Fire and Fury" variant at the moment but I'm always open to good ideas. |

I have not seen an errata for Soldiers Companion. One of the guys in my group does have a copy of the 2nd edition playtest rules and they are an improvement over the 1st Edition. In general, I like Soldiers Companion better than TSATF. |
