I am curious as to how many people play 6mm. Please add your name to this thread if you do and what periods you favour. It is just for fun. Michael. angelbarracks.co.uk

WWII land WWII air Modern Land Modern Air Thinking about getting into 6mm Napoleonic, Bought some Baccus and see if I enjoy painting them. I would get into other periods as well, but friends have the other periods in different scales. I just like the look of 6mm on the table. Mike |

Ancients (Alexander, Punic Wars, Rome in the East, Imperial Rome) Medievals (100YW, WoTR) AWI Almost all are Baccus and they amount to about 12,000 painted guys. Most of the scenery is Timecast and irregulat. I used to have WW1 planes and WW2 tanks but have gotten out of those genres. I would have done dark ages in 6mm but got tired of waiting on Normans and Vikings so went 15mm instead. |

Napoleonics (Baccus) Ancients (Late Romans/Goths) (Baccus) WW2 (H&R, GHQ, Adler) |

Ancients (DBA, BBDBA and experiments with DBMM100), ECW (DBR), Napoleonics (DBN), WSS (has been Volley & Bayonet but might change rules used). Fantasy (HotT). Started wargaming with 6mm figures. Went into 15mm and 25mm but now seem to be becoming interested in 6mm figures again. One factor might be that my wargaming room is fairly well lit and has light wallpaper and a pale floor so that it is fairly bright. 6mm benefits from good light, IMO. Certainly not knocking other scales – each scale has its advantages and disadvantages. |

WW2, SciFi, ECW, but would happily do others. Frequently the choice of 6mm is more based on figure cost than anything else. |

HoTT Fantasy, but many historical ranges included in the many armies I have (mostly Irregular plus a few Baccus) Renaissance (Maximillian rules) – all H&R except for my new Ottoman armies which are yet to be painted. Zulu War – H&R plus a few Irregular WSS – partly finished (OK, started) all Baccus France 1940 – unpainted and now redundant as I've moved to 3mm for this period. Tony Hughes Tiny Tin Troops |
