This looks like a good one.

It should be. The publishers collaborate with Periskopio, the publishing company of "Stratiotiki Isotria" (Military History), the premier Greek military history magazine.

You should be able to get it from Greece

Got it today. It is very brief on history, but has a lot of great pictures from various Greek manuscript sources and the original plates are stunning. I am very happy with my purchase, but then again I am a Byzantophile.

Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully it will be a good source for my new army.

Thanks very much. I'll give Amazon a try first and if they aren't carrying it I'll order one from the continent.

Cheers,

Darrell.

Squadorn/Singal

Squadorn Singal? Is that anything like the upcoming movie, Inglourious Basterds?
