This is probably a delusion brought on by old age and wishful thinking but I could swear there was/is a company that sells after-market parts for 1/2400 scale ships, including lattice masts. I have a bunch of US battleships from Panzerschiffe that I bought to play the final battle from "1931: The Great Pacific War" and I'd really like to dress them up a bit; unfortunately, my modeling skills just aren't up to producing lattice masts in that scale. Am I, in fact, teetering on the brink of senility or are these available somewhere? LT |

The only lattice masts in 1/2400th scale that i know of was those that GHQ sold with their US Battleships. Captain Gideon |

There are brass lattice masts in 1/1200, but in 1/2400 I went with the GHQ when I revamped some Panzerschiffe ships for my WWI stuff. At the time, all GHQ was making were WWII period cage masts, so I bought some of those from them and modified them a bit. You might contact them directly and see if they would still sell them as separate parts. I think I had to buy the masts and the gun turrets together. BWW |

You can buy individual sprues of parts directly from GHQ – you do need to know the stock number of the original kit however. |

CnC made tripod masts for British WWI battleships, but it looks like they are out of stock (here is the link): link Contacting GHQ would seem to be your best bet. |

C-in-C carries the tripod masts. I have ordered them many times and they always say out because they are made on a made to order basis. Just email the fellow at C-in-C and he will be more then willing to mould them for you. ilodic. |
