I've painted the Old Glory La Haye Sainte set in 10mm. I'm actually using this for my War of the Spanish Sussession troops, so I wasn't bothered about historical accuracy for once. I just wanted a pretty building, and I wanted it pretty fast. I had a chance to fool around with painting roof tiles and bricks in different colours. I've seen this done nicely elsewhere.

Pictures are on my blog here

For those of you who are interested, the building was easy to work with. It seems to be a good model.

Tis a nice model, do you have a photo of it all assembled as it were?

Glad to see someone using historical buildings as other buildings too.

:D

I have been adjusting my light box today. Hopefully I will be able to get you a photo of the whole thing on Saturday (Friday is the 'weekend' here in Bangladesh).

I have uploaded some pictures of the whole thing here

My blog is suffering from some kind of PHP restriction. Otherwise I would upload there.

If you zoom into the pictures you may notice a diamond on the wall of one building. This is a modern day plaque to the defence in 1815. The designer must have copied a modern photo!

What's the footprint of it? Suitable for use with 15mm? Do they also make Hougoumont?
Thanks,
Phil

They make Hougoumont. The foot print of La Haye Sainte is about nine inches square (excluding that separate wall piece which shoots out for some reason.

Many people drop down one scale for buildings. It would work fine for 15mm.
