I while ago i was discussing 2000AD's ABC Warrirors with a few people on here, and we lamented the fact that Foundry never made a happy shrapnel figure
Well i just saw a news item on TTGN for a new Rattrap productions robot cowboy figure thats the spitting image of him! More details on my Blog. link |

That cowbot might need a bit more shrapnel to be Happy. :) |

It could certainly make a good basis for him. As I recall though, happy also wore cowboy boots (complete with spurs). Between that, the coat and the hat, you might almost be better getting a human cowboy figure and converting the human bits that show into robotics. To be honest I'm not that bothered about Happy, as he was never one of my favourite Warriors and doesn't fit into any of the lineups I'd want to recreate. I'm still thinking of sculpting my own Mongrel though, but I'm not sure if a) I'll ever get round to it and b) I can really do him justice. |

The beard would be the tricky part, but as soon as you got something on that line that figure would certainly resemble Happy to a huge degree. And yes, the AT-43 figure would make a good starting poitn for Mongrol as well. |

I know I'm five years late to this particular party…but then, the ABC warriors stories cover several hundred years! Anyway, I reckon Deadeye from KillerBgames makes a pretty good Happy Shrapnel, and at 40mm he scales up well with the Foundry ABCs too:
