I'm doing a 4'x12' wargaming table & would like to do it really up town. Does any hobby shop sell large amounts of flock? Thanks for any help, John Parris |

Why not order a custom mat from TheTerrainGuy. Their flocking doesn't come up and the surface is rugged and very playable for movement of miniatures. |

you really only need 3 large bags of Woodland Scenics. I did a 4x8 and had lots left over |

I agree with one of the other posters that a grass mat might be the most efficient method to cover that much table. Anyway, your profile says you're in the US, so what follows are US links. Most model railroad stores with decent Woodland Scenics displays have those big 50 cu in shaker cans of flock, static grass, etc. Or you could go via Internet, link I got some larger-sized bags of Noch static grass from my local model railroad store; they had to order it but it was only a few days. (I picked Noch because they used to make the static grass sold by Citadel so I could match the terrain I already had.) Here's an online vendor that has 1/2 gal and 1.25 cup size bags of Noch static grass: link And of course, GW/Citadel's static grass is in a decent-sized tub nowadays, though its size is given by weight instead of volume so it's hard to compare: link Best of luck on your project. |

Drop me a line through the MKP site, I can probably part with a gallon or two. -Will |

Will, Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is the MKP? Can not find it on the Google or Altavista sites. Stupid John |

I now have visions of his pet rabbit, sat in its cage with a road network shaved off it, as he practised the technique on a renewable resource. |
