Does anyone have an opinion on the best Vallejo color for 'standard' Union blue. I know the blue probably wasn't that standard within the army, but I just need somewhere to start. |

I have been using 899 Dark Prussian Blue for jackets and 901 Pastel Blue for trousers. |

Seconded 899 for jackets though I prefer sky blue for the trousers. |

I'll second Extra Crispy's colour combination – pretty much what I'm using for my ACW projects (figures are 40mm for me and 54mm for my son) |

Doesn't Vallejo put out an ACW colors set. I bought this years ago. Very happy with it. mjc |

Reaper Miniatures has a paint line and some of their colors look like close matches to actual Federal uniforms. ~Gary |
