So what's on your table today? Painting? Are you going to celebrate with a historical game? Are you doing a public demo of an historical event somewhere? Are you taking part in a parade in historical costume as a 1:1 scale soldier?

Anxious Americans need to know!

Enjoy!

After appreciating one of the better ways in which to display our flag, I'll be off a little bike trip along the lakeshore, then some gaming later.

Happy Canada Day!

Well, lets see……supposed to rain today (Ottawa), generally staying at home……reading (started Alastair Reynolds' "House of Suns" yesterday, after finishing "Small Favor" by Jim Butcher…..if anyone hasn't read the "Harry Dresden" series, start it, they are terrific)…hoping to get some time to paint some BFG Space Marine ships as well as finish a couple of "kill teams"….bbq ribs tonight and hot dogs for #1 son.

Happy Canada Day (hmm…I still prefer "Dominion Day", which it was before 1982….oh well…)! And a Happy 4th July to all our American cousins on Saturday!!!

So far I've slept late. It's stopped raining at my end of Ontario so I think I'm going to take the two units of 28mm longbowmen and the 30 welsh spearmen outside to prime. May get some more paint on the billmen and longbowmen started earlier this week.
Youngest girl has to work from noon to 6 so we can't go to the big family BBQ my wife's uncle puts on every year. By the time we got there the fireworks would be ending.
I think it's BBQ burgers here at home for the menu in compensation.
Sorry, no parade or re-enacting of the Rebellion of 1837. But I'll probably drink a beer which is pretty close.

Sunny and warm here in White Rock. My wife is working, so I may do a little yard work. I've been painting up 3 battalions of Sash & Sabre 25mm Austrian Grenadiers, I may work on them for awhile but it's too nice to stay indoors.
Fireworks later tonight at the beach.

On July the 4th we will walk down to the beach again and look accross the bay to see fireworks in Blaine Washington.

It's suppose to rain here in Québec. I'm going to see friends for our traditionnal BBQ, so I hope the weather report is wrong!!

It is a bit chilly here and it is supposed to rain – my wife is cutting the lawn (she loves to cut the lawn and, I'll be honest, I such at it) – my day started with some work at 0500 (I am on call) but I got it all sorted out by 0600 – I am doing some reading for work, working on two lots of minis in between volumes – finishing some Eureka Seven Years Picnic Grenadiers for the Little Prince and starting some Shadow Forge Temple of the Light Auxillary archers for yours truly – No. 2 son is dropping by this aft, so it will be Bar-B-Q time – Happy Canada Day, everyone!

I enjoyed Canada Day with our colleagues from that spelndid country, who kindly brewed up a vat of "Moose Milk" – very smooth, quite deadly :) Happy Canada Day chaps!!

Its a bit dreary and rainy here in mile "0" city today. So it's indoors with the family. Watch some movies. Paint some figures and if time permits set up a little solo game this evening.

Happy Canada Day everyone.

Currently waiting for some animation to finish rendering. And surfing TMP to pass the time. Later tonight, I'll catch the fireworks with the gf.

Happy Canada Day to everyone!

Spent the afternoon doing volunteer work at Major Hill's Park in downtown Ottawa. There was only a flash storm, and the rest of the day was nice. So many flags given out…

TodCreasey01 Jul 2009 7:30 p.m. PST

Went down to Majors Hills Park with the kids (next to Parliament here in Ottawa) and had one of the best Canada Days ever. Free ice cream, train rides for the kids, a Snowbirds fly over and great entertainers. Best Canada Day in years and yet another reason why I love living in capitals!

Happy Canada Day to all, from one of the best countries in the world. Bob in Vancouver.
