Can anyone tell me the facing colours of the Hanoverian regiments that fought in the Jacobite Revolt?
Thank you.

Dave Crowell01 Jul 2009 3:30 a.m. PST

The '15 or the '45?

For the '45 Chadwick gives predominantly blue, with yellow being the next most common, a few green and buff, then various oters usually represented by a single regiment.

Thanks Dave.
The '45. Can you point me to specifically which regiment had which facing colour?

Dave Crowell01 Jul 2009 5:14 a.m. PST

Will do.

If you don't have the the two Jacobite sourcebooks for V&B contain quite a lot of useful information, including a nice campaign based on the '45. They are available from Old Glory.
