Am working on some 20mm VC and NVA figures. Any suggestions on proper flesh colors to use? Thanks.

Google some photos of Vietnamese men. How much do you think they vary from the "man in the street" where you are? In other words, why not use a normal tanned, outdoorsy skin tone?

Someone makes various flesh tone colors, but can't recall whom right now. They look quite nice, and are acrylics.

Bezmozgu7, head over to the Guild (link provided below), sign up as a member and then access the Tutorials sections.

What's more, you'll also be able to see the works of others who do Nam in 20mm.

Yup join The Guild… Lots on there as I just finished my Nam 20mm project and a few others are working on stuff for Vietnam.

My mate has just done his NVA. He used GW Bronzed Flesh with a wash of GW Sepia Wash over it.

He aint the best painter in the world but it came out really well and looks good.

This section of Cool Mini or Not has a nice reference for painting ethnic skin tones… link
