Thanks so much in advance,

Copplestone has some pilot busts in the High Adventure range. If you don't need/see the whole body, they would perhaps work well.

Or you can use the pilots that are out and convert with a seated figure if necessary not usually my first choice but an alternative in a pinch.

I use the copplestone and then a matching full figure for the figure on the ground

Thanks guys, I've e-mailed RLBPS and asked him to bring a pack of Copplestones pilots to H-con. Appreciate it!

Apart from Copplestone, Eduard make 1/48 aircrew for WW1. Cut them off at the waist and hey presto. I'm guessing the Pfalz DIII is Eduard, like mine.

JJHI,
Yeah, It's the Eduard. A real jewel! I saw where they make crew, I sure wish they made sitting pilots! That seems like a no-brainer to me, they have also discontinued the German WW1 crew, but still have the French & British, wierd.

Most small companies like Eduard discontinue producing some moulds from time to time, then reintroduce them 2 or 3 years later. I picked up the RFC crew, nice figures.
