You know we have web sites that give a good showing for Pulp Miniatures
link Zombies
link Weird War II
link And Crom only knows what else is out there that I have no idea is in existence. What about mutants? (And I ain't talking about those X-Men either.) Where would you stock up on a decent priced horde of mutants? I like the ones here
link And I've got some MageKnight miniatures to draw from. Anyone know of some more sources out there? |

Ah ha! You have struck upon one of my favorite things
mutants. There are tons of sources. How many mutants do you want in the end? How much is the budget? How good do the miniatures have to be? The best way is to go with the least expensive types, spend a little time with them, convert heavily, and enjoy. I would be happy to work a deal to convert your mutant hordes. I love's to mutate miniatures. You could hit the GW excess/bits ebay dealers and make out like a bandit
tons of bits to use on cheap figures. |

"There are tons of sources." – Links or searchables! beg
beg
whine.. whine
plead
plead
"How many mutants do you want in the end?" – I'm not sure yet. "How much is the budget?" – sigh
very slight right now
"How good do the miniatures have to be?" – Varies. Mutants come in all sorts of varieties. "The best way is to go with the least expensive types, spend a little time with them, convert heavily, and enjoy." – This is the way I'd like to go. I've just gotten into modifying miniatures. Some I've done just by painting them different (Taarna from Heavy Metal & Lee Falk's Phantom). A modification I'm working on now in Cherry Darling from Planet Terror
picture picture Thundarr & company is a project planned in the near future. link "You could hit the GW excess/bits ebay dealers and make out like a bandit" – going to look into this! Could you drop a good search phrase? Thanks 28mmMan! |

I would also check out the now OOP dreamscape line of CLIX. I see them going all the time for cheap and it is full of add stuff you could use as converting fodder. Oh and here is a good site for insperation, ironhands.com/minmutie.htm |

28mmMan! I think we have the same "warped" sense of humor. We are so misunderstood, eh, brother?
I did a search on the Dreamblade minis. They would work VERY well!!!! Very nice. Just do some touch-up painting and
wah-la! Instant muties! |

I was at a used (pre-owned) bookstore yesterday
took my 8 year old son to a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament
when I noticed that they had a box on a high shelf that had "Dreamblade" written on it. I asked to see it the manager was surprised to see that it had been up on the shelf since 2006. When he opened it I saw some miniatures in the top of a pile of papers. Thinking of my mutant army/horde, I asked how much he wanted for the box. He gave it to me for free!!!! When I got home and opened it up I saw that it not only had the miniatures on the top, but two unopened starter boxes. Long story short
. I have my mutant horde. Soon the wasteland will tremble under the trod of marching mutants! I WILL RULE THE WORLD!!! BWAahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! |
