Rejoined the guys playing 6mm Adler using Empire V and they have invaded Russia! We I rejoined them, Napoleon and his main army is approaching Smolensk and a large Russian army including the Tsar and the Guard. A good battle awaits.

Napoleon awards me command of 7 Corps and the initial attack on the left with Wurttenberg soldiers.

Check out the 1st part of the battle on my blog.

Hey David, a great little report, and excellent photos, particularly like the first overview and the close-ups later on. Can you tell us a little bit about the terrain/scenics that were used?

Are those Timecast buildings, and how about the terrain boards? Home-made or commercially available?

Ta, Keep up the good work, Steelonsand.

All the terrain was made by Michael, the host. Boards are syrofoam with grass mat glued on. River is cut out and painted. Woods are hand make using foam on toothpicks and then painted and flocked. Suburbs are carpet and felt on card. Roads and Buildings are Irregular 6mm. Contours and hills are foamboard cut with grass mat glued.
