Just finished a set of 1st Legion phalangites from the 40mm Wars of Antiquity range. This is the rear rank group, MAC002. Some assembly is required. Seperate heads, arms, base, sword, etc. Strangely, the sarissas which come with the figures are more like spears, too short at just over 50mm. I popped off the spear heads with pliars and replaced them with longer wire. picture picture Steve |

Steve, I'd like to send you a handful of my 40mm Macedonian Phalangites for comparison. Not sure what 1st Legion sells theirs for, but my boxed set offers 20x figures for $40.00. $2 USD per foot for 40mm
can't beat it. |

Lou, They cost $13.95 USD for a pack of four = $3.49 USD each. Funny you should mention the Battlestandard Macedonians. I ordered some about 3 years ago, what a fiasco. I won't bore you with the details, it's on the previous owner and partly my own fault as well for not staying on top of the situation. Suffice it to say I never came back for more. Interesting proposal, kindly PM me and we can talk some more about it. Steve |

Steve: Your Macedonians look very nice. I purchased a bunch of their Greeks and Persians last winter and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I love the detail and animation of these. I probably will be compelled to try some Macedonians in the near future as well. Kyle |
