Hi there, How well do the 28-mm Perry Samurai & Koreans blend with 28-mm Clan War, 28-mm Dixon, and 28-mm Old Glory figures? I've got about 80 Clan War Samurai and plan on buying about 50 more Clan War figures to fill out my samurai infantry. However, I wanted to buy some of the Perry Samurai cavalry for one army and Dixon samurai for the other army. I just wanted people's opinions on the Perry sculpts. From the photos on their website, they seem to be gorgeous figures. Thanks, Blake |

They are significantly smaller than the clan war figure, especially the cavalry. They fit in size wise with the old glory ones but not really very well stylistically. |

Dixon, Perry and Clan War are pretty different in size and proportion. If it was me, I wouldn't mix them, but I'm somewhat picky. I'm a big fan of the Perry's Samurai and Koreans. I've got just about all of them and was painting samurai with yari just this morning. |

BTW – You can see some of my Perry samurai on my blog (click Perry Miniatures on the right), but my newer stuff looks better. nycjadie.wordpress.com |

Dixon are not 28mm, I would call them "tiny 25mm". They look like ewoks standing next to Perry samurai. I have some of both, so I can take comparison pictures for you later tonight. And yes the Perry's are really great. A bit difficult to paint due to all the details, but that is because they are top notch detailed sculpts. |

I mix Perry and OG. Most of the OG work, though some are just too animated for my taste. |

Here are some pics of Perry next to OG (and TAG): link link I've seen Clan War figures and agree with the others that they are big compared to Perry and OG. I think Kingsford miniatures run a bit larger (haven't seen them in person) and might be closer to Clan Wars in size: kingsfordminiatures.biz One thing to note about the OG figures is the armour is a mix of eras, which may or may not be of concern for you.
