hi i'm in the uk and am looking to buy a vulcaniser , centrifuge and melting pot do you know where i can get this equipment from any website details please or if anyones got any second hand equipment

Tiranti do some of the kit you are after, spin caster and melting pot. The only other option is to google it.

I got my machine some years ago from S&R Engineering in newark, it is a big one, reconditioned from GW I think.

Tiranti machines are very small but it depends what your production level is of course!

I think S&R Engineering have gone bust, the phone numbers we have get no response.

I think Seba are your best bet, though don't expect much change from 10 grand.

Also don't forget a good extraction system, talken powder particles and liquid metal fumes are not good for the lungs no matter how tough you might think you are.

Alternatively pay someone else to do the work for you.

I would contact Sgts Mess, they have good contacts an may know of ones going secon hand in the UK

Or you could ask them about doing the casting for you, they do a lot for the industry in the UK, reasonbly priced too and are highly recomended

Otherwise tirnti (they sell as small one that oes up to 9" moulds and also o demos in there shop fronts too
