Anyone hear anything new from Mark at Crecent Root?

I know he's not due to re-open for a little while, just hoping he does. I'd like to order a bunch of walls.

Interesting that you just asked this as I sent Mark an e-mail on Monday and received the following response today:
**********************************************************
Thank you for your inquiry. Currently, I only have the time to craft a general response to all questions. I apologize if this offends anyone.

The move of Crescent Root Studio has had its share of complications. Some of these complications are directly related to the economy and others have been of a more personal nature. I remain committed to returning to production, but realize that my original timeline was far too optimistic. Currently, the best-case scenario is to begin limited production in November.

Once production is in full swing, orders for unpainted models will ship within 3 days. There will probably always be a lead-time for painted orders, as I do not want to sacrifice quality for the sake of speed.

Thank you for your patience. There are many new projects in the works (some underway at this very moment). I look forward to the time when I can once again be part of this great hobby.

Regards,
Mark

*Crescent* Root?

Would anyone think that Mark has simply forgotten to let anyone know that he is open for business, and is sitting there wondering why he has no orders to fill?

I feel fairly certain there will be an announcement when he's back to normal.

Um, yeah, thanks Allen. VERY helpful…… Wish you could see me rolling my eyes.

ANYWAY, Mark's stuff is worth the wait. Glad to hear when he's finally up, he'll be shipping in far less time. Hope all is well with him.

Just wondering if there was news, and there was….

Thanks Hitman

I too am glad to hear some news. Mark makes great stuff and I want to get more as well.

vogless – I agree that Mark's stuff is worth the wait. He is a one man show and yet always has time for great comunication about an order.

I'll be glad when he is settled and back up to speed.

Yes he does excellent work.

I know I can't wait for him to get back to business! I have a bunch of 20mm Middle eastern stuff I REALLY want from him.

Chris V14 Jul 2009 7:13 a.m. PST

I knew this would be the right place to check on his status. I eagerly await being able to order more painted 28mm Middle Eastern buildings.

Anyone know if there's any stockist in the UK for Crescent root Terrain

Cammopants19 Oct 2009 3:10 p.m. PST

Any up dates on this?

As far as I have ever seen, they were direct order only with no stockist anywhere. Wonderful terrain.

Any update on when CRS will be accepting new orders?

CRS is my single favorite building producer and I would love to expand and fill out my collection. I have been looking forward to placing an order with them for a long time.

nitelook02 Nov 2009 6:30 a.m. PST

I just received the following messages from Mark:

Thank you for your patience and I apologize for not being more consistent with my updates. Here is where things stand at the moment: Crescent Root Studio will return to limited production in early 2010. Full production will resume late summer of 2010.
