Hi all,

I've recently learnt that, at some point of WWII, the Red Army reconverted their obsolescent BA armoured trucks into wheeled troops carriers. It seems that conversion for their new duties wasn't that thoroughly at all, for it apparently consisted of removal of turrets as well as of unnecessary internal elements.

I'd like to build some of these re-converted troop carriers, but unfortunately have been unable to find any picture or diagram allowing me to figure out what these vehicles looked like.

Does any one know where to find images of such re-adapted BA armoured trucks, so that I can take a model from?

Thanks Miniaturerealm -however, this one prototype is based on the BA-64 armoured car.

At juniorgeneral.org, it can be seen an ambulance model that might give us an approximative idea the kind of thing I'm searching for: link . It has been labeled as BA-22, but I've been unable to find anything related to such BA-22 on the Net.

Well, at least we can figure out how it was such a thing, after re-converted into it by the Germans! link
