I've been working on a game for a couple of weeks. The idea started at Nashcon when I found 10 ninja for $10 USD at Wargames. I painted them up and now I've blogged about the scenario I wish to run next week here: link

It should be fun. I have an interest in special forces type games and with everyone on the same side it should be interesting. The key will be to not trigger too many Samurai at once!

White Dwarf published a cracking scenario back in the 80s for a ninja raid on a daimyo's house.

I ran it at the club back in the day, and a good time was had by all.

Unfortunately the copy of WD is long gone. None of which is germane to you and your game, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway.

Playstation has a couple of ninja games, which might help provide some inspiration.

The Deadliest Warrior show gives some good insight into their specialweapons as well, and their use.

Fun stuff. Love ninjas.

It is hard to NOT like Ninja. I am of course a big fan of "Ask a Ninja" which helps with the Ninja jokes. The Shinobi supplement for Sengoku helped with the history and mythology. All good stuff.

Can't wait to put these guys into action.

I loved the Tenchu series for the Playstation/PS2.

Yes, that's the one I was thinking of, I believe.

Quite fun.

Just to follow up – I did complete the game and I did run it. A complete AAR with pictures can be found at link

Enjoy!
