I just got done looking at the websites for Empress Miniatures and the Wargames Factory after reading some of the posts. Both companies have wonderful figures. I should have listened to my friend Steve Hood and discovered TMP sooner. I feel like an idiot for ordering all these BTD Zulus and then seeing all the posts about the questionable customer service. That's awful. I'd still like to order some plastic Zulus from Wargames Factory just to see what the figures are like and then purchase the Zulu hut and Zulu character set from Empress Miniatures through their American distibutor, Age of Glory. But I think I answered my own post about mixing and matching Redoubt and BTD figures when I compared the two different minis side by side. I'll keep the Redoubt Zulus in a separator unit and sparingly use the remaining figures interspersed with the BTD figures (assuming I get the rest of my order, which is now looking rather questionable). |

I wouldn't feel bad. When BTD comes through--and apparently they have been for some customers lately--I think you'll be pleased to have their figures. I ordered my BTD Zulus in two large lots during sales in past years. Yep, I had to wait. I think it was worth it. No, I wasn't all that pleased at the time! Allen |

I'd like to go on record as saying I've never had any problems with BTD in the past. Perhaps I've just been lucky – but everything was fast, and they've always been responsive. I haven't ordered from them in a while though. |

My buddy and I are still waiting for figures we ordered 18 months ago. BTD USA has not been answering our emails. |

BTD does have nice figures – but I am still waiting for the second half of my order from February |

If you avoid BTD USA you should be all right. I've only had problems when ordering from the USA distributor. They take your money, send part of your order, then don't respond to emails. |

Blake, I agree with Allen. I think you will be quite happy you chose the BTD Zulus when all is said and done. IMHO they are by far the best Zulus made. cheers, rob |
