Hi there, I got about 23 Redoubt married Zulus from a friend last week. I looked at the BTD figures I had and guessed I could use the Redoubt figures in my impi. But the Redoubt shields are much larger than the BTD. Should I keep the Redoubt Zulus in a separate unit and randomly intersperse the rest of the Redoubt minis in my BTD units (a basic Zulu unit is 20 figures, i.e., 1 Zulu induna and 19 Zulus with spear and shield, while 60 figures and a mounted Zulu induna make up a "regiment" in TS&TF)? If the Redoubt shields weren't so big, I'd have no problem mixing and matching them with the BTD figures

The figures can certainly be mixed. I think shield sizes varied somewhat so as long as they are all painted the same they should blend well. |

Good thing about Zulus is that they are large numbers and always welcome-big or small shields. Keep them together if you like. No one will notice much or care in the game. |
