Very Nice Shane, Your painting style is indeed very nice! Bruce Quarrie's book was my original inspiration as well. I went the opposite direction in my Napoleonic Journey however, and opted for grand scale rules with ease of play. I love DBA and the Napoleonic variant DBN has proved to be great fun. For me, painting is my prime interest, so the simplicity of the rules was a vehicle to get the little guys on the table, and an inspiration to paint more. I love the fact that I can paint 4 figures and call it a regiment, and then move on to another interseting uniform. David PS – Here's my Blog, hit the DBN label on the left to pull up some examples link |
