This includes Classical Greek Wars thru the fall of the Macedonian Empire.

Hoplomachia from The Perfect Captain. Purpose designed for the Greek phalanx.

Homeric Hack covers "Warfare in the Age of Heroes: 1500 B.C. to 1184 B.C." – well before the period of Classical Greek phalanx warfare. Were you thinking of Classical Hack, perhaps? :)

Hoplomachia does indeed have a lot of period detail and flavor, albeit limited to ca. 460-360 B.C.

My personal favorite: Impetus.

Scott

Strategos, my favourites Ancients rules for anything. We've done classic wheeling hoplite battles with them.

Another vote for Hoplomachia. The Captain also has a mini campaign.

Hoplomachia looks fantistic. I can't wait to try it out. I'm new to ancients, and I'm still working on painting my greeks.

Definitely give Hoplomachia a whirl if you have a couple of Greek armies. It has a lot of fluff that is designed to make the rugby scrum of two phalanxes pushing on each other into an exiting contest.

Hoplomachia is a great game. But also somewhat hard to learn. For fast, quick games Impetus. For full games Hoplomachia.

Ancient Warfare, by Terry Gore.

I think Field of Glory gives a good feel for phalanx warfare. Hoplites will be at a disadvantage fighting against pikemen but it isn't a cakewalk for the pikes. For pike versus pike or hoplite versus hoplite, the combat will tend to last long enough to feel "right" and the function of light troops in the rules is such that they will not play an unrealisticly decisive part in the battle.
