Marionettes of the sock is such a good phrase.

Sane Max01 Jun 2009 8:40 a.m. PST

'Dog Milk' is the missing phrase. Dog Milk is stocked instead of Cow's Milk in UK Nuclear Bunkers because it lasts for ever.

Sane Max, "Vienna Sausages" and "Potted Meat" were what the judges were looking for, but "Dog Milk" is also acceptable.

streetline01 Jun 2009 8:44 a.m. PST

Ick.

Rubber Suit Theatre01 Jun 2009 8:51 a.m. PST

Does dog milk last forever because none wish to drink it? Oh, and "Marionettes of the Sock" would be a cool name for a rock band.

GreatScot7201 Jun 2009 8:56 a.m. PST

I think "Marionettes of the Sock" is going to be the name of my next FAD4 mercenary army.

For their weakness attribute, I shall select "Supergrover", from the list, which converts all rolls to return a result of "nonsense."

"Arthur, you're on a first name basis with Lucidity! To me, it's always Mr. Lucidty!"

Is the Tick's real identity Supergrover6888, not I. P. Daly?

What is equally humorous is that excluding the anger, bad grammar, spelling, syntax, ect is that he think others here would support him LOL. Robert

highlandcatfrog01 Jun 2009 11:03 a.m. PST

Oh heck no. I'll sock a clown, or a mime, but not a puppet. I've got nothing against puppets.

The zombie socks are AWESOME. If holes make them qualify as zombies, I have a hole drawer full of the undead at home.

miscmini Fezian01 Jun 2009 4:23 p.m. PST

GarrisonMiniatures03 Jun 2009 2:49 p.m. PST

Well, this has been an informative thread. Almost has me wanting to reread The Birds.

In the original Greek.

If I ever get round to learning Greek.

Connard Sage03 Jun 2009 3:45 p.m. PST

I didn't know Daphne du Maurier wrote in Greek.

I doubt Aristophanes stayed at Jamaica Inn either

GarrisonMiniatures03 Jun 2009 11:25 p.m. PST

Good ole' Aristophanes comes to mind.
You can fill in the blank….
