I just got some samples from Barry Carter of his new range of 28mm trench models. These are the products which I have been waiting for. I am not fond of the "raised trenches" available. They just donīt look right. With this new range I can make trenches of cheap polystyrene and just decorate the interior of the trench – super!

Who will they be available from ?

aercdr26 May 2009 8:00 p.m. PST

They are very nice. I currently use (he admitted meekly) above ground "raised" trenches. These would be much nicer.

The guy who produce them is a frindly chap called Barry Carter. You can reach him on barrycarter70 at hotmail dot com. I understand the models are under production but hopefully ready soon

Hello guys

After a LOT of problems , the Trench pieces are now available on the website

We were told that the pieces would feature in a section about terrain building in the Warhammer Historical Supplement…….. "OVER THE TOP! "

HOWEVER…………things on that front seem to have gone very quiet, with repeated delays, so we will just wait with baited breath to see if pics of our products make the final cut ,or if the supplement is ever published at all

Anyway ,take a look on the Timeline-miniatures website and see what you think………….and remember, the prices of each item include postage ,so theres no nasty % to add at the end
Regards
Barry

Hi Barry!
Fantastic! the pieces I was waiting for.
How tall are the sections and the firesteps?
And also the 3 different plank sections seen on the sit as you do not specify.
Thanks for back feeding.

RAJAHPAKDEE27 Oct 2009 10:29 a.m. PST

firestep is approx 12mm tall thewooden wall is aprox 42mm tall
as is the trench sections both plank and sandbag
the tallest seperate plank section is about 30mm

its not particularly important as you buid up the base of the trench then glue in the planks etc
then fill up to the edges with your ground texture anyway

Does anyone know if this project is still running? I can't find anything on it after 2012 and there's nothing on the Timeline website (which is pretty limited in itself).
