I'll keep an eye on this game. I love Prepaints to bulk out other gaming venues. Cheers, Xin |

Hhhmmm
..looks interesting enough. I like the trays. The minis don't look to bad in the pics either. |

Looks cool. Game has a launch date of September 09. |

Dire news indeed. These look great- and who doesn't need undead ancient Egyptians? I can see a demand for the figures alone although I don't know anything about the game. Looks like we have a few months to save up for it though! Thanks for posting this. |

Well it is a little different as the bulk of the figures aren't prepaints. Just the more rare figures and maybe uncommons are prepainted. The figures are nice but they are true 25s and not 28s. |

The pricing seems startlingly cheap: Check this quote from link "The starter pack contains over 100 figures, bases, and rules – everything two people need to play – with an MSRP of $34.99. Faction-specific army or cavalry packs contain 40 common foot soldiers or 15 cavalry units for one of the three factions for $14.99. Booster packs contain eight figures each. They retail for $11.99 USD and come 24 to a case, in three eight-pack bricks, one for each faction, thus allowing a player to buy an entire faction's worth of characters for around $100. USD "The first goal is to keep this game affordable," said Wells' Online Marketing Manager Mark Chase. "The beauty of this system is that you can purchase additional stuff that is faction-specific." The army and cavalry packs contain unpainted figures; all other figures come fully painted." |

Interesting looking. I will be very curious to see what these look like in person. |

I don't see real information, but here's the site: arcanelegions.com Edit: After further looking, there are more pictures and links in the news section. andy |

Are we sure these are 25mm? The photos look more like 15's to me

If they are "true 25" then they will likely be very very close to 1/72 scale. That being the case, I'll be looking forward to this for the fantasy aspect of it all. |

They are true 25s not 28s |

This might be the first CMG I get into. The combination of history and fantasy is appealing and the gameplay concept with the bases sounds interesting. The price point is also very helpful. |

The game actually launches September 30th. There will be playable demo product at Origins and available to retailers in late June – early July. There will be a limited amount of pre-release product for sale at GenCon. The figures are true 25mm human scale. |

True 25mm? In short somewhere around 1/72nd? And they have Han Chinese, you say? I can hear my wallet crying already

This looks to be more than interesting
.could be the best CMG release ever ! (but i bet it turns out to be hard to get in the UK and more expensive – like a $ to £ straight price conversion) |

I was told that the average male figure will be 25mm from the ground to the top of the head. They said they would take some photos of some of the minis next to a ruler for comparison after Origins, and forward them to me. If anyone is interested, I have posted an unreleased image of one of the Anubian Guards on my blog: link |
