I saw some of their work recently. Suprisingly excellent.

ALL the figures on this page were painted by Fernando; did a really good job:

David,

Very nice photos. Thanks. The shading looks to be blended a bit more than what is found on the Fernando web site. I find the painting to be very harsh on his site. I never have liked the "foundry" K.D. style of painting. But your figures look to be toned down more, which is nice.

What grade of painting was this?

showcase: the middle price. By the time you factor in postage, cost of figures the showcase price is VERY much the optimum price point particularly with the discount. Also figure you have spent perhaps 2 bucks just for the lead itself. So when you dice it and slice it the middle grade is the way to go: the figures really are well done and are dramatic when based together ( I do my own basing so they are consistent). After all is done I shoot it with a matt spray for protection. This entire project will be shown off at nashcon next week with my new rules:

did they assemble anti tank gun with the shield wrongly placed?

I can recommend FE.
They do a good job.

The gun painted by Fernando could be a 6 pounder (see post war photo below for a comparison). But the gun shield on Fernando's model is rounded rather than angular, so I'm not sure.

If it is a 6 pdr it does look like someone put it together incorrectly. This is a mistake commonly made by wargamers :)

Well I suppose you are correct now that I look at it but I am not inclined to pull it apart. Here are some i put together myself

the figures are 28mm foundry (in grey) Artizan (in Camo) the brass are shell casings; they look much better at a distance. the red and white poles are standard fire sticks which soldiers would position so many yards out for ranged fire. Obviously this would be for prepared positions
