Hi, just a quick question. I've gotten the impression that the Flames of War produced planes require some special attention, because of the resin they're cast with they tend to not hold their paint very well unless you put some sort of undercoat on there, a Milliput wash it says (see article): link Now my question is. I didn't buy any Flames of War aircraft, as I wanted the same scale, rather I bought some Armament in Miniatures Typhoons. Do they require the same sort of prep work? Or something entirely different? Thanks |

I just wash them in soapy water, give them a rinse, let them dry, apply the primer, and start painting. |

Just do what miscmini said. Just a few drops of dish detergent in some warm water (not hot), wash with an old discarded nylon tooth brush, rinse in clean water, dry, prime and paint. You should use this procedure with all resin products. |
