Hi, I'm new here was told if I joined this forum that I might get some help. I am basically looking for a minature that looks like "Lone Wolf and Cub". Basically I am looking for a miniature that has a unarmed Samurai pushing a baby cart. The male figure may or maynot have a weapon drwn. Can anyone help me out as far as finding a miniature like this or possible one that looks like it? Thanks for your time with this, Mike ") |

Welcome, mac4515/Mike Some other questions for you: How big do you want this miniature (what scale)? Are you willing to make a conversion of a "similar" figure? Have you seen this figure before or is this from the wishlist in your brain? Lastly, and more importantly
Are you prepared for the silliness you are about to unleash? |

Just for reference, here is a link to a Lone Wolf and Cub set of figures (12" tall) that might be useful for someone recommending suitable figures: picture |

LOL! I watched Shogun Assassin in the theater back about 1980. Serious grindhouse action made from splicing a couple of Lone Wolf movies together. Haven't seen any minis which would fit though. Regards, the Gorb |

Perry Miniatures does an absolutely beautiful set of "Samurai fighting with swords in everyday clothing", set SAM43, in their The Age of Wars – Samurai Armies 1550 – 1615 line. One of those would make a great Lone WOlf, with the addition of a conical hat. picture If you e-mail them, they might sell you just the individual figure that you need. As for Cub, the carriage would be a fairly easy scratch-build out of plastic sheet, and you might find a suitable baby to occupy the carriage in a pack of Oriental civilians or villagers from the Perrys or some other company. Good luck! |
