So I just received some miniatures (WWII air, WWII ships, and some Napoleonic ships) and I am really pleased with quality for the price. Very sturdy miniatures as well.

For people who have dealt with them in the past how often do they add new products or new sculpts, their web site seems a bit behind in customer friendly department. No new products list, no online buying.

Navwar are one of those places you really have to make an effort to buy from. As well as no online buying don't forget no emails and telephone only available 1 afternoon per week.

Seem to be doing everything possible to reduce sales, your buying has to be done totally at their convenience.

They are great miniatures that deserve a much higher profile than they get these days. Well worth getting, but if you are outside of the UK a real pain in the #### to deal with.

Updates and new releases are extremely rare.

I am slowly building stock of the Navwar ranges. At the moment I am concentrating on the 1:300 aircraft. I have online ordering and e-mail. I'm working on pictures as well. I'm starting with the WW1 aircraft. Right now I'm busy assembling them. After that I'll get them inked and photographed.

If there's anything you need please let me know.

Some of their planes are very nice.

Others have badly skewed wings.

"Navwar are one of those places you really have to make an effort to buy from." – Rob, that maybe so for international buyers, but they are quite easy to buy from in UK (by post or fax). I know that is of no comfort to you, but I thought I'd make the point.

I have always bought them from italy via fax without any problems, just sent a fax to them.

Thanks for the feedback all.

too bad Navwar does not come out with new products frequently or even have an email address ( damn damn damn! =( ) there are a few WWII sea planes I was hoping they would create.

Scale Creep, I have ordered from you twice. Great service and great communication with your buyers. Keep up the great work something a lot of companies need to model after.

I ordered from the States via snail mail. I found this to be no more of a problem than ordering direct on line, and it really didn't take that long for the order to come, either. I have no idea why some feel this is such a terrible issue. Spoiled, I suppose…

Come on Naz. No MORE of a problem using snail mail than ordering direct online. That's just silly. One takes 1-3 minutes. The other could take 1-3 weeks just to place the order. Not to mention IF you have a question about the product. Then add another couple of weeks into the mix for a reply. Then you get the joy of starting all over again. I REALLY like the figs. But I don't deal with Navwar.

Thanks,

John

That's fine, John, but honestly for me filling out the form and sending it was really no more trouble than ordering it on line. Sure it took a little longer to get the stuff back, but it's toy planes, fergodsake. How urgent could it possibly BE? 8)=

Ok, I understand. I guess a lot depends on what timeframe the product is needed. The technology exists at least for basic email communications. That should be a minimum base of operation.

Thanks,

John

I have supported Navwar products for 25 years and have had
few problems. It would be nice to order on line for sure, but
I am used to waiting on their stuff. The problem is there has been nothing new in 1/300-1/3000 for a few years now.I could really use modern warships and warplanes.
I just sent an order to Viking Forge for 1/2400 modern PRC
warships. He doesn't accept credit cards yet,but the service is great and the ships are beauties.
