Thanks for commenting :) Painting the monocles – if it helps anyone, here's how I did them. From a black undercoat. Dark blue – any you have. Mix in some white, off white or ivory – to make it a little lighter – and paint a curving line at the top and bottom – wider at the top. Add more white or whatever you have used and repeat. White "spot" as a final highlight. Now I paint the monocle frame making sure I add a "light spot" to the "metal" above the "white spot" on the lens. |
