The second half of the French vs. Prussians battle report has been posted on my blog with pictures. This was an unbalanced scenario, but a lot of fun.

Find out who won at:

Nice but … what's with the streaks down the middle of the pictures – is your camera going south?

Nice report Todd. I like reading your AAR's. Nice looking table and figs. Plus your pictures are always bright and clear.

Nice!

Thanks,

John

*Edit. I only noticed the straeks after they were mentioned. In several of the pics you have to look to see them. In a few it is more noticeable. I'd still take your pics over many others posted here. Bright and clear.

Good news and bad news with this post.

Great site tshryock. Nice content with some great camera work.

Dave, it's not his pictures. They look great on my end.

Actually, they are there. I saw them too.

Thanks,

John

If one person says it, you ignore it and go on. If two people say it, you pay a bit more attention. If three or more people say it, it has to be true.

huh? I may need glasses after all.

But my initial statement stands, great site. I added it to my favorites to check in on from time to time.

The streaks are there -- and yes, my camera is going south!

Still, the pics are great – and the action even better

Yes, there are vertical redish brown stripes or streaks in the pics, tho fairly faint.

Your analysis seems correct.

tshryock04 May 2009 1:09 p.m. PST

Which analysis? That my camera is going south (which I think everyone, myself included, has agreed on), or the post-game analysis of each side's strategies?

And I'm currently brewing up the follow-on battle. Ney meets a now reinforced Yorck for another go on another field.

I meant your post game analysis.

Actually I had no problems with the pictures. THey turned out better than my last efforts. 60 photos and none I considered to be usable.

Yep, the pics were good!

Looking forward to your next report. I actually knocked out 4 battalions of French Line infantry after reading your report along with 6 units of Line artillery. A new report will probably get me to finish up those French dragoons and another 4 battalions of infantry!

:-D

Looking forward to it.

Thanks,

John

I have the terrain set up and the roster is pretty much the same other than there's another brigade of Prussians and minus the units wiped out from the last battle. I hope to get it set up this weekend.
