…of using a painting service for Old Glory's Mexican civilians. PIM-29.

Normally I make due with my limited painting skills but wife/kids got these as part of my birthday gift and it might be viable to add a little Pizazz to the town setting.

So, I need to have painting services suggested that 1) Would have a knowledge of what appearance was historically common for 1920 through 1950 Northern Mexico civilians 2) not going to make "museum" figures but nicely done "moving terrain" 3) In the USA and 4) are affordable (yes, that is genric and open to interpetation but I've not used a painting service before.)

I can contact them myself to obtain pricing for painting, postage, etc. but I want to know what services you have used that have done vaguely similar and that you would use again.

Gracias,

Glenn

I would recommend Bob Bowling at RLBPS.com

Nice work, knows his stuff, and delivers when he says.

But you get what you pay for.

Marty Blow is another -- but you get what you pay for.

I can be hard to get Marty to paint for you sometimes. He won't over commit his time. So if if he is busy and you are not on his 'regular' customer list, you might not be able to hire him.
